Siem Reap and Phnom Penh Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Cambodia 7 Nights / 8 Days tour packages starts like- Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, meet our Fly High Holidays Representative and transfers to hotel for check in Lunch not included Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha, and the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art – notably sculptures – from throughout the ages.
Day 2
Breakfast at hotel Take Bus and transfer to Sihanoukville and, slightly further along the coast, Otres Beach. White sands and turquoise waters welcome you to this chilled out, picture-perfect part of Cambodia. Reach Otres Beach Check in Hotel. Enjoy Evening Nightlife At the Beach Side. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast at hotel. This is stereotypical beach life, with bars, restaurants and cafes lining the sand. The Serendipity Beach area of Sihanoukville is where you go to party, and backpackers regularly flock here to enjoy the nightlife. If you prefer a more chilled out atmosphere, Otres Beach might be a better fit for you. After everything you did in the east, rest up and unwind here in the sunny south. But don’t go to bed too late because the beach life beckons early in the morning…A visit to the south of Cambodia is incomplete without a trip to one of the islands off the coast. There are a bunch of options for you to choose from, each with a unique atmosphere (see below for more detail). You’ll need to book the boat ride to your chosen destination the evening beforehand, so be ready to live the island life on day.. . Overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast at hotel transfer to Bus Station Take a Bus and reach Phnom Penh, meet and transfers to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5
Breakfast at hotel Visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. Transfer to Phnom Penh bus station for your joined bus to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap bus station, meet and transfers to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre Temples. Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of PrasatKravan, SrahSrang (“The Royal Baths” was once used or ritual bathing),BanteayKdei(surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. It is time to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup temples. Overnight accommodation at hotel.
Day 8
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the “village” move from place to place following water levels and current. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight home. Your Cambodia 7 Nights / 8 Days tour package ends here.
